Hey peeps,
Hoping for a bit of advice regarding the cam cover on the 1.6 THP….since we’ve owned the car it’s leaked oil, finally got around to removing the part to inspect and its obvious the bolts have been previously overtightened which has cracked the plastic. There’s evidence of attempts the seal the damage with a sealant which has obviously failed.
I'm looking to replace and I’m aware the same engine is used in minis, which the cover seems more readily available for…..
Can anyone confirm if these covers are interchangeable between mini and ds3?
Any advice would be much appreciated, searched the internet for far too many hours with no joy
