Hi all,
I've got a problem with the aircon system in my DS3. I've just had it regassed, by the way.
Essentially, the magnetic ac clutch only engages with the blower speed set to full. If I turn the fans down when it's working, it disengages again, sometimes immediately, sometimes after a few minutes. Once it ran for a full 30 minute journey, but only once. I can always make it re-engage by turning the fan speed back to max. Doesn't matter what temperature I have the aircon set to, the problem is the same.
Do you think it's the clutch itself, or the electronic control panel? Or maybe one of the other many components?
I love this car, but it is trying to bankrupt me right now. If I can fix this myself, that'd be great.
