The standard PSA/BMW blowoff valve, fitted in Citroen DS3 1.6THP ,Peugeot 207 1.6THP (GT/GTi/Rallye/RC) and Mini Cooper S R56 1.6T can be upgraded using the new group VAG blowoff valve internal parts.
The upgraded blowoff valve consists of PSA/BMW body and VAG internal parts. All parts are made by the same company: Pierburg.
The internal parts of the stock PSA/BMW valve are interchangeable with VAG (audi/vw/seat/skoda) 2.0 TFSI blowoff valves.
This is the new blowoff valve from group VAG (code 06H 145 710 D):
And this is the stock PSA/BMW blowoff valve below.
To open the blowoff valve you need to hold it as shown in the photos below and pull the central part.
Pull apart the two pieces apart and ... voila!
The VAG bov in pieces, also separated the same way.
Using the PSA/BMW body, install the new internal parts of the VAG bov and voila!
