Look on the bright side Zack, the problem is not a serious one and it is easily fixed.

A good point to note here for anyone else who has fitted extra or new engine pipes or parts is to double check the fittings and make sure that what has happened too Zack doesn't happen to your DS3.

As always our resident 'Zackmeister' has taken one for the team and we salute you sir!

Think you might need part 1901 97 if I'm seeing things right, works out at about £88+vat.

                                Hi everyone,
I hope someone can help. Stumbled on this forum when looking for possible reasons why my car is spewing diesel over the car park as I write this.
My 63 plate ds3 1.6 diesel went in for its first MOT last Saturday and to my surprise failed due a slight fuel leak. As I only purchased the car 6 months ago, I phoned Citroen and tried to make good use of the extended warranty I paid extra for only for them to advise it does not cover fuel leaks. This bothered me, mainly because I had not noticed the fuel levels going down any quicker so I would assume I had the leak since before I purchased it.

I had a mechanic look at the car and they determined that it was one of the 4 connecting parts of the Fuel Injector Leak Off Return Pipe so I ordered the part from Citroen, collected it and had it fitted.

The mechanic told me I may see slight run off of diesel from the tray(?) that's underneath the front of the car so expect to see diesel still patching under the car...the patches continued but I noticed they were getting increasingly bigger to the point where on Friday, I returned to my car in the car park and see the puddle flowing down the hill.
For every 40 miles a notch on diesel I was getting, I am now getting 18 and my car stinks of deisel. I've stopped using the car until I take it back to the garage on Monday.

I just wondered if anyone could give me a heads up on what it's likely to be. I've popped the lid with the engine running andcant see anything that it could be coming from but I genuinely have no idea what to look for.

I just wanna know if it's likely to be something expensive? lol I've spent £300 since Saturday on the car including £40 fuel, £40 MOT, £56 part and the rest on labor.

Thanks in advance and sorry for any spelling mistakes, I'm writing this on an unforgiving phone!

                                Jo x
