Diesel Leak... HELP !

Hi Guys,

Well, Woke Up This Morning And I've Got A Bad Diesel Leak, Laugh As Much As You Want But I'm Just Looking For Help.

No Idea What The Part Is It's Leaking From So Some Expert Citroen Advice ( Biggie ) Would Be Much Appreciated.

I Think It's Come From My Induction Piping Hitting The Said Part And Either Breaking It Or 'Popping' It Out ?

Below Are Pics And Vids, It's A Slow Drip / Nothing When The Engine Is Off But It's A Forced Stream When The Engine Is Running !

It's Just Coming From The 1 Pipe On The Right Hand Side...

That blue pipe is putting too much pressure on it mate

It looks like the end of the fuel filter is broken and thats why the diesel is pouring out. That induction pipe is pressing against it which is causing friction which has lead to the filter's failure. You will need to move the induction pipe when you replace the filter, both an easy job.

Yeah I Know It's From The Blue Pipe - I'll Look For A Way To Move It / Support It Some Other Way.

So It's A Fuel Filter, Is That Cheap ? Will I Need To Buy That Whole Unit Or Just That End Clip ?

looks more like leaking at the bottom of the black piece that gray clip is attached to.

Nah It's Dripping Down Onto The Black Bit And Running On From There - It's Clearer From The Other Side

So it may just be the seal and taking the pressure off from the pipe may stop the leak.

Not sure Zack, best bet is to check with John Nicol as there are a couple versions of the HDi engine. Would need you VIN in order to double check.
