peculiar noise

First post, here goes..

Have a Dstyle plus 120vti, which I collected a couple of weeks ago. last couple of days, about a minute after starting there is a sound, whuich kids say is like an aroplane hostess call button, but cant see any warning message. Youngest lad is a techie geek, and wouldnt surprise me if he has changed some setting!! Any ideas gratefully recieved !

Does you car have the parking sensors and are you starting the car in gear at the time?

It's not the auto locking of the doors / boot maybe.

It does have parking sensors and actually it is not a dissimilar sound to the noise when the revers is selected. I dont think that I am starting in reverse, but will check the next I am in it/ it makes the sound. Now you have got me thinking it may well be something to do with the reversing sensors. Had a C4 Grand Picasso, and the reversing sensors were always playing up when it was wet !! Hasnt put me off, still love it, just curious!!!
