Every decreasing fuel gauge

Filled the tank up yesterday and it still showed one bar short. Drove over to Newcastle from Dales today and thought I should fill up before coming back- filled up and gauge stuck on just over half. I thought well maybe it needs some more in and got back and put another £10 in- couldn't get anymore in. So seems like the fuel gauge is shot. I can't understand though why it keeps going down- at this rate I am going to be showing no diesel for getting to work tomorrow when I've just filled the tank!!

Mine has done exactly the same as you! It's so frustrating! I'm going back to my local dealership to see what's going on!

See my post yesterday guys, similar problem. I have not had the balls to remove the Shunt fuse yet as Bigfeet advises but building up to it.
