Door Mirror issue

Hi all.

The other day I clipped my N/S door mirror, thanks to a IDIOt in a 4X4 forcing me across RD. The mirror folded in like they are ment to but now when the mirrors fold in when the car is locked the N/S mirror folds in to far and touches the glass, is they anyway to reset it so it stops where it's ment to.

It's ok I've fixed, they was a crack in the plastic of the main body of the mirror inside and it had popped out so it wasn't catching on the stop, a bit of superglue and a push back in and it's like new.
