  • Can't get my wheels off....

    Hi,

I know it sounds dumb but I can't get my wheels off because I wasn't supplied with the little pincers to get the caps off the bolts.

Can anyone help with this? I hear theres a guy on this forum who supplies citroen parts?

    Please.....help.....

    Tar

    Andy

Can try PMing Ross http://ds3club.co.uk/member.php?1947-RossF or John Nicol http://ds3club.co.uk/member.php?320-John-Nicol

Could try needle nose pliers or pop down to the dealer and have them take the caps off for you.

That little tool that Slapshot uses looks ideal & cheap too but failing that you could go to a local tyre company & ask them to borrow there"s as they have all the little tools of the trade to do such jobs!!! Charlie

Try some long-nosed pliers with insulating tape wrapped around the ends to avoid damaging the finish on the caps.

                Works a treat!

I struggled to think of a way of doing it until I discovered that they have a lip on the domed end!

You can get them off with anything that will fit down the recess and get under that lip - That Maplin tool looks excellent for the job and is probably cheaper than the Citroen plastic tool
