Mine was just a shade over the 14k mark when I sold it on. Up till then I had no problems with it at all.

New engine at 10k miles, lunched #1 piston due to oil ingress reducing the octane rating and causing detonation - Did it a lot. PCV delete cured that, and it's even been to Citroen with the PCV delete caps on without a mention
New engine had new timing chain tensioner and WRC fuel pump at 22k miles (12k miles on new lump)

I like to think of it as the Pointless Citroen Valve

On standard THP150/155/200's it shouldn't cause problems, its only when you start modding.

Does the detonation sound like pinking? If so, that's what mine's been doing.

Is that the in tank pump or the 200 BAR HPFP ?

HPFP, the standard one was struggling to deliver at my boost/flow volume

And what is your boost and flow volume figures ?

Boost is on 1.2bar on a modded JCW turbo, not sure of the flow rate, not measured it, 215bhp on 99 octane-220bhp on 105 octane at the flywheel. WRC pump can supply 275 bar if needed and is more than I require but is insurance against leaning out, it also ramps the fuel pressure up quicker giving a snappier throttle response.

That's strange, as I am completely unaware of a HPFP for this particular engine that has been developed to deliver a maximum of 275bar fuel pressure, I think you may have been misinformed!

I run 2bar (29psi) of absolute pressure on the standard 120bar HPFP and standard fuel injectors, and have no lean out situations!

I also have a few dedicated THP track engines which run a Motorsport developed HPFP delivering a maximum of 200bar with high flow and high pressure compatible fuel injectors, and these engines run 2.5bar (36.25psi) absolute pressure.

That's the (upto) figure Citroen Racing said for the WRC spec high pressure fuel pump, so without measuring I can't be sure?!
