  • Oh No - my sill is falling off! :(

Are sills held on by clips! If so one or two are broken.

    Anyone else had this problem?

Pesume I can get new ones at Citoen?

Just hope it doesn't fall off completely on the way to work tomorrow

      Yep the black strip.
Tried pushing it back and got nowhere - which lead me to suspect broken clips.

      Cheers Adi

If your afraid it will fall off then just pull it all the way off. Going to have to do that anyway to replace the clips. If remember right someone said those clips were cheep.

Good point - a few clips will cost less than replacing a sill lost on the motorway!!!

          Cheers Cyclone

Dealer just told me "You can't buy clips, you need to get a new plastic sill strip at over £120!!!"
Jeeeeesus - do they make it up as they go along?

The clips are only a cheap plastic hanger and they tend to stress quite quickly, to replace them is not a big job. My thought is that maybe high powered jet washers place the clips under enough strain to cause they to fail?

The point was trying to jokingly make in that other thread was Big A americans and their Big wasteful SUV's and their Big houses and Big shopping stores, with all there lights and signs with AC set to arctic temps filled with shit, that are open at 2am for those 2 insomniac shoppers. Not correcting his spelling because my grammar / spelling is so bad that Jimbobs sign should be tattooed on my forehead!
