  • Can't select bluetooth source with paired phone

Hi I'm from Brazil and I'm new to this forum and new to DS3 (bought one last week, the car was announced on July 2012).

My issue is that I have a Nokia Lumia 800 and paired it sucessfully to the car's bluetooth, I can make and receive calls normally but can not stream music. I have checked the phone specs and it has the profiles required to stream music over bluetooth, A2DP and AVRCP.

Tried other phones, Ipod touch and all of them stream music to the car's sound.

The Lumia 800 was the first phone paired to the car, started the sync from car's radio, and selected the phone option instead of music streaming.

Is there any way to reset the bluetooth settings of the car?

    Thanks in advance.

    Welcome

I had real issues with my Lumia 900, it wouldn't sync. I'm not sure myself, but someone will help you!

Goto the blutooth settings on the phone, choose the device (the car) and make sure streaming media is enabled, if it is then I'm not too sure what the problem could be

On the Windows Phone there is no such setting on the bluetooth page. I can only see the devices and delete them.

You can't even sync it? Can't make or receive calls?

Press and hold your finger on the device- another menu should popup

              Nokia's......again!

Bluetooth streaming is dependant on the device connecting to the car. As Chief pointed out you sometimes have to look within the phone settings to authorise the phone to stream and share content.

If you wish to clear paired devices from the car you use the menu within the car and delete the pairings.

The only option is to delete the device. With my other car, Corolla XEI 2012 I can stream music from this phone, with my laptop too!

I have already deleted all the devices from the car's radio, also removed the fuse F18 which controls the radio. No sucess!

How did you pair the device in the first place? Did you find the car from your phone or find your phone from your car?

Find my phone from the car, set the passkey on the car and entered it on the phone.

Well then it could just be one of those things.

My HTC Tattoo would pair but not stream where my Samsung S2 does.

Try it the other way around..there are actually 2 different profiles in play- 1 for a headset and the other as a streaming device (A2DP). I fwither device doesn't detect both profiles then they won't work fully. Because there's 2 profiles it also means (in theory) that you can have 1 device connected for streaming and another connected to use the headset function

Biggie- it will depend on the version of android rather than the model of the phone ;-)

Tried that, started the pairing from the phone. No sucess, it seems that the car recorded the Lumia as a phone, because when I sync again, on the radio appears something like "Connected as streaming" it plays the music for 2 secs and them switch to the phone mode again.
