Can't select bluetooth source with paired phone

Version will have a little bit to do with it I guess but most I would imagine would come from the manufacturer of the phone and internal software set up. I have always had grief with Nokia's when pairing them!

On a side note doesn't Nokia deploy some sort of DRM with their phones to restrict transfer?

The thing here is that the OP has successful streamed with other devices so the car is not at fault, it has to be something with the Nokia.

Appears to be a windows mobile issue then- first I've heard of it though. Just doing some tech forum searches for you to see if there's a solution

Bluetooth is bluetooth, the chips are all made by a handful of firms- it's down to the OS to tell it how to communicate. Only hardware difference is bluetooth 1 or 2

I would also think that the issue is with the phone itself, but as it was able stream music to other cars, laptop, etc. I thought it might be with the car. well, thank you guys, If I have any updates I will let you know.

You can also try turning off dlna. Also see if play has bluetooth media streaming options

Just a thought but mine (LG Optimus Black) has problems sometimes with the music and I have to play the music on the phone first before I click source otherwise it won't play the song If the music is coming through the phone speakers however then you know it's not corrected right
