New version of ecu software for thp ?

I received a letter today from my local citroen dealership saying the following:

Citroen France has asked us to update your car's ecu software (free of charge) so that we prevent any malfunctions that might be caused in some specific conditions. My car is the thp model, bought it on september 2010. Anybody knows what is this about? Also if i do an ecu remap of my car i will not be able to do these updates in case citroen decides it should carry out more of these in the future ?

Not had anything here yet but I have the THP155 rather than the 150 which has a different map as far as I know

I've had it done last Monday, they were quite non specific about what it was for but I seem to be getting better MPG figures

maybe a software fix to the THP problems?

Yah. reprogram so engine light never comes on and then they can say look the lights not on so it must be a normal characteristic of the car.
