I see that The Foot has added an Info Rapid on wind noise that involves replacement of the front window seals.

Has anyone on here had this done? I've got more wind noise than I'd like in mine - sounds like its coming from the rear windows (i.e. it seems to be coming from behind me), but this doesn't make much sense as the rear windows don't open, so it's probably coming from rear edge of the front windows, by the door pillar, which is what this Info Rapid relates to.

Question is, if I go to the dealer & ask them to change the seals, will they do it because there's an Info Rapid that covers it, or am I likely to have to argue the toss with them? I can anticipate the conversation: "They all do that, Sir - the Info Rapid is for cars even noisier than yours" etc etc...

Info rapid's are there to aid dealers in solving issues that have arisen across the network, the idea is that if a customer comes in with a problem the dealer can check the info rapid list to see if there is an offical fix rather then attemping to solve the issue on their own.

Gar if you are having wind noise from your front windows then speak to your dealer and give them the info rapid number (on the doc at the top) and get them to check for you.

Something to remember guys is that a dealer does not have to carry out the info rapid if they feel something else is causing the problem or they can solve the issue another way, hope that helps!

Having a closer look at that link I can see you have a log in for independants service providers, thats why my log in won't work. It looks like the same system but some of the options are different.

                That's what I thought, thanks.
I sure would like to know if there is any info on sudden loss of enginpower. Turbo has already been replaced but sometimes I still have about 10hp left... Without any warninglights!
I also have a problem with the bluetooth connection, sometimes the connection is lost and connecting again is not possible untill the next day. I't's time to go to the dealers again!

oh wow, reading this has just made me think of something else that I thought was quirky with my car but might be a fault (god even typing this is obviously a fault). When I fill my car up (petrol) the first cube in the top quarter takes aaages to go, after that the fuel seems to decrease at a steady rate but then at the end of the tank (last quarter) it flies away. All things pointing to the fuel gauge being incorrect, right?

Fuel gauges are rarely linear, so there will be differences at different parts of the scale. The float arm tends to move through a bigger angle for a given drop in level at the extremes of the scale & the reading may be influenced by the shape of the tank. The reason for the slow movement at the top end is, I think, down to it being a digital display. On cars with an analog display the needle will go above the "full" mark if the tank is brimmed; a digital display, on the other hand, can't display anything above "full", so your first bar could, in effect, be equivalent to a bar & a half.

                              Bigfeet76, you are THE MAN!

I've got the exact problem as mentioned in the hesitation info. I'm a Peugeot mechanic and already checked the fault codes, P1385 is present. I will give my dealer a call tomorrow, they have replaced the turbo for this problem earlier.

My bluetooth loses it's connection during phonecalls. In the middle of a call connection is lost and after that I can't connect with the RNEG again until the next day...

                                glad to help mate!

Not sure what's causing the problem with the phone, have you tried flashing your mobiles firmware for the latest version? That sorted out customer of mine who had a samsung tocco that was being a bugger on a C5.

In reference to the fuel gauge is that the display is not live - the system check the fuel level every few mintues and then displays that reading, the idea behind that is to avoid false reading from when you drive around corners or drive uphill. This could be why the bars seem to drop uneven and as daveb said when you fill most people 'double click' and the top bar is really the 5 litre + the bit in the filler neck!
