It's kind of a shame that the dealer who goes that bit further to help you out than many other dealers do ..Is the one that is punished?

Perhaps if Citroen didn't have this mindset their Customer Service would have a better reputation

bunch of wankers..... im happy with the way you dealt with a query of mine and know other people are grateful with the way you've helped them. i know the dealers i used could do with someone like biggie working for them instead of the lying c***s that are currently employed there!

I hope that Citroen a least follows up and reads our support for Biggie and that they get the idea of how much positive he has done for the brand by setting the example that other dealers should be following.

May I say that, as a first time Citroen buyer, one of the deciding factors to buy my Ds3 was in part fuelled by my accessing this site as a visitor.
The way information was given honestly and willingly, from someone who obviously was employed by the manufacturer, albeit at dealership level,
I saw as a breath of fresh air. To now see that this is not the case across the board in the U.K. somewhat worries me concerning me committing to
            Citroen ownership.
I would feel much happier if the brand was prepared be more open in future and not treat buyers as idiots who do not deserve to know.
Citroen have recently announced plans to use the Ds brand to be their new high level identity and are even preparing to have Ds only agents,
so I think if this is the case the service levels should increase too.
Take a deep breath Citroen and think about your customers, without whom you will sell no cars.

Bigfeet, that really is sad news! I hope you didn't get into any trouble! Maybe I can work something out, an ex-colleage of mine now works as a mechanic at a Citroën-dealership here in the netherlands, maybe he is willing so send me some Info Rapids...

I have had a similar problem over here. I have been working at a Peugeot-dealership here for the past 10 years and was active on some of the Peugeot-forums. Posted a lot of "confidential" stuff untill someone mentioned my and my dealers name to Peugeot costumersupport... But well, I still work at the same dealership!

Really dismayed to hear this. Leaving aside the astonishing pettiness and absurd heavy-handedness, it's just a bad business decision! We all know that cars go wrong - irrespective of how much you pay for them (ask anyone who's bought a Merc or a Land Rover in the last 10 years or so). How refreshing that when a systemic manufacturing problem is identified, information about it, and how to fix it, is shared in a spirit of open-ness, so that owners know what to ask for, and what to expect by way of a solution.

So hats off to you Biggie - I reckon that if your refreshingly honest, customer-focused attitude were adopted more widely by Citroen UK, it would be a damned sight more successful in its customer relations than it currently is.

And shame on the pathetic worm on here who caused you this grief. Go snitch on people somewhere else, why don't you?

                        • Cheers Stef.

From what I know there was a bit of trouble with people abusing the IR's posted.

I've since uploaded them to one of my servers; I'll be filtering through them later and putting them in a more legible format.

I know where you are should I need any translation assistance though

                          Thanks.
