Hurray for carpark accident dickheads.
Some penis at work decided he was gonna reverse at speed the wrong way up the one way lane as I was straightening up my car in a space. I'd literally just pulled into the space and straight away backed out. No idea where the hell he'd come but he wrote down next to my details that I'd admitted fault. Err...what? He told me he hadn't seen any of my lights but stuttered when I told him my reverse light was on his side and I've got lights on the front that I couldn't turn off. I'd had the DS3 one month. Went down as 50/50 fault because there were no witnesses, no CCTV and apparently the directions in a car park aren't legally enforceable. I had to pay half my excess (£125) and lost 2 years NCD (only got 3 now). The bumper and splitter had to be replaced as the bumper creased and there was a deep cut in the splitter.
Getting into my mum's 1 year old Civic today, we saw someone has driven into her front bumper. The bumper is bent in at the middle, I'd say almost 1cm gap under the headlights and the bonnet it raised up slightly. No details left. If I'd seen someone do it, bricks would've been introduced to windows. Can't stand shit drivers who can't admit their fault and just run off like cowards.
If you're confident repairing it yourself, then I'd go for that.May 2011 - October 2015: White body/black roof/white Bellone THP150

This is my fisrt on WTF, my previous car:
- Someone walked over her, a slipped foot print on the front, followed them up over my bonnet and roof - dents all over
- Some one scraped down the whole side in a car park - and left no details
- Someone tried to nip over a cross roads at a junction, I slammed my breaks on, slowed enough, but hit the middle of them.
- In traffic, looking at the guy behind me vanish from out of my rear view mirror, rummage around for something, and of course move fwd and hit me. I mouthed 'you twat' as he looked at me in my mirror, got out and said 'sorry to make you jump, I didn't see you'
Damage looked minimal, but turns out a Jeep would do more than expected and had bent the back, meaning my boot would catch when shutting. This took him a year to admit he'd hit me, even after his insurance compant come out and said, yeah, I can see what has happened and how he has hit you.

Bad TimesI had someone catch the back of mine a while ago at morrisions near where i live, they managed to smash my rear tail light and scuff the back end of the bumper sort of license plate height level and left no details so i was pretty annoyed, had to buy a new tail light £150 and fitted it myself because citroen wanted an 2 hours labour for £250 total when i took me 10minutes xD. And then managed to use a buffer to get rid of most of the mark as it wasnt too deep now looks like new.
Just one of those annoying niggling things but hopefully you get it sorted out
