PMSL - recall for "incorrect illumination of warning lights"

Just had a recall notice (59 reg THP) for "a new version of the engine software to avoid any possible incorrect illumination of the warning lights"

Considering how often my engine warning light has been illuminated, and how many attempts Citroen have taken to fix it (which they now seem to have done, at least for the time being), I found this hilarious.

Shades of buying dodgy 2nd-hand cars in the dim & distant past, when a troublesome warning light could swiftly and easily be "cured" by removing the bulb...

How you know bout a recall if youve changed address and registration?
Do they track you down, or do we check the website?

Got the letter, have spoken to dealer and said the car is running fine and I don't want you to break it so i'll leave it be thanks bye!

If it aint broke, don't try and fix it works good for me.

One of my favourite sayings- If it ain't broke don't fix it. I haven';t had one and by the looks of it it seems to be the THP150's that seem to be getting the letter?

Also had the recall letter along with 2 other owners from Bristol Area !!!...Not good Citroen I have the names and adresses of these owners with Reg numbers and Vin Numbers lol.

Had no problems with my replacement engine dont think i will bother.
