Underbody Clips for broken mouldings

Been noticing that a few of you guys have had issues with clips failing on the side mouldings on your DS3's so I have decided to try list the parts required in order for anyone to repair them. So far I believe that this may be one of the clips required.

Spot on with this one. Apparently it isn't a listed part for the DS3 but you can buy a bag of 50 for £5... I'm pretty sure there's only about 10 across both sides maximum but atleast I'll have some spare... O.O

I bought a bunch from my local dealer when it happened to me (about 10) I think he charged me about 80p

I tried two dealerships yesterday and each of them told me you can't buy the clips, you need to buy the full skirt which is pretty cheap at £170 a pop.....

Phoned my local dealer before, advised them of the part number above and they're ordering 50 of them in now(minimum you can buy). I only need two so I'll probably just leave a handful with them. If anyone from ~Bolton has a similar issue in future, they should have plenty of stock in

Fixed today using the clips from amazon. Perfect fit. 10 second job. I'll upload some pics tomorrow.

OK, so very straight forward steps..

Step 1: Break your DS3..



Step 2: Locate the clip mount. Just pull down your side skirt being sure not to apply too much force



Step 3: Slide your clips in to place using the bottom lip of the clips as seen in Biggy's first post


Step 4: Push your side skirt in to place, if you look underneath where you skirt is, you'll see where the hole lines up.


No idea why that last pic is upside down xD

1 minute job, tops.

I got mine refitted by my dealer (Telford's of Carlisle, Cumbria) under warranty. Great tip for the future though. Cheers!

Good posts- should help me after going past a nasty accident last night 10.30pm and hit something in the road- bit of debris from the accident
The police road guarding not appropriate IMO
Bottom trim almost off- All info on this thread correct- phoned dealer and they want £12.60 for packet of 50 clips
Bit of a mickey take when you only want half dozen clips
Do those in post #2 fit?

It makes prefect sense, this is the actual view you have when lying on your back fiddling with the clips!

The ones in my second post were the ones I used, they come in a bag of ten and fit perfectly. I kept a couple in the car and dropped off the remaining with my dealer to help with anyone else stung by this.

Just be happy your dealer didn't faff around and tell you that you can't buy them!

They only ordered in the wrong bit- looked like the female part of the clip rather than the male
They said something about (the number in post 1) item has been superceded on their system- even though I gave them the right number in first place
Went into the Citroen system 2nd time round
Lets hope the trim stays on for awhile
Or next stop Amazon
If I do get (50 of) the right clips and someone needs a couple then feel free to PM me anytime
