  • Winter Tyres

I need to have 2 new front tyres fitted and as it's approaching winter I was looking for some advice.

Would I be better off fitting 2 winter tyres to the front and leaving the rear wheels as the supplied Potenza's or would I need to fit winter tyres on all 4 to see a benefit?

I have seen some Hankook W310 winter tyres on camskill.co.uk for 93.30 inc VAT and the reviews online seem pretty decent.

if I am better off fitting 2 summer tyres I have previously seen the Toyo T1R Proxies recommended on the forum and these are £70.55 inc VAT on camskill.co.uk.

All advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

For general cold weather use the front tyres are fine, if you plan to drive through deep snow then you would be best to do all four.

As a rule of thumb most of our customers opt for front tyres only as these are the driving wheels.
