Bulbs and trim parts

Hi there

As im not getting our car for a week or so can someone confirm the following for me....

1- Dipped beam are H7
2- Full beam are H1
3- Are the indicator bulbs straight or offset pins...?
3- Does the silver trim on the front bumper come off the bumper...? If so how...?
4- Are the door rubbing strips clipped or stuck on....?

1 & 2 - From the Handbook:

Front Lamps:

1. Direction indicators (PY21W amber).
2. Sidelamps (W5W).
3. Main beam headlamps (H1-55W).
4. Dipped beam headlamps (H7-55W).
5. Front foglamps (PSX24W).
6. LED lamps ( LEDs ).

Rear Lamps:

1. Brake lamps/sidelamps (P21/5W).
2. Sidelamps (P5W).
3. Direction indicators (PY21W amber)
4. Foglamp, right hand side (PR21W red)
Reversing lamp, left hand side (P21W).

4? - I think the door rubbing strips are stuck on.

What silver trim on the front bumper ?

The door strips are stuck on with adhesive

and if a newer model there may be a hole for a locator lug in the door. As Zack says, what chrome strip on front bumper or do you mean the one around the edge of the lower grill

silver trim om bumper as far as i know their isnt one

unless someone has added a trim at the bottom of the headlight

Sorry should have been clearer.....the trim that forms the front bumper and grill opening which is normally chrome but is orange on the DS3r....can that be removed for painting or wrapping...?

hi ken sorry mate im still not sure which trim on mine there is the top citroen crevron grill or the ds3 badge thats the only two bits of chrome on mine maybe one of the other guys can help

Yes but dont ask me how, lol. Theres one on ebay so zoom in the photo to see bolt holes

The chrome trime around the grill is clipped on but you would have to take the whole bumper off to get the trim off! As to wrapping it in place just run by a local shop and ask. Forge Motorsport has some good instructions for removing the bumper under there intercooler installation instructions. Good Luck!
