I'd say no more than 2000 miles with the remap.. But seeing as I had the induction kit on for only a week before the remap it's hard to tell what caused all the issues... But the Induction Kit is 100% causing issues at the moment so it's up on ebay. Maybe this weekend if the weather is good I'll try the blanking caps and see if there's still problems with the kit.

I am noticing a lack of power for about a tenth of a second while foot heavy on the pedal; once every few days.
      Remove the K&N filter?????

no. That's not making much of a difference on its own to matter. Though when is the last time you cleaned it?

It's new, only done 800 miles.
Hmm, maybe I will check the engine for signs of oil leakage...

THPs can be a bit twitchy (Great stuff) Becks especially when cold. My KN Filters never given a problem. Make sure filter housing is clamped shut properly

Best to see if it still happens when engine is real warm (10 mins this time of year)
Or rev your engine to bout 2500 revs when releasing the clutch- thats fun too
