Ice warning external Temperature flashing

I have a basic stereo set up DS3 on a 61 reg

i would quite like to stop the External temperature flashing constantly while there is "danger of ice"

I can shut off the whole dash using the "dark" button but i would rather retain functionality without the flashing number in the corner of my eye.

I thought it might give it up after a certain temp but even at 4degrees its still blinking away.

i tried pressing ESC a lot too.

It's there as a safety thing which is why you can't disable it, to honest with you it can't flash that brightly surely. Try turning the brightness level of the dash down at night using the lighting controls.

Suggestions I can also offer would be a bit of dark tape or indeed moving to a warmer country


On a side note it's also there as a protection element for Citroen to stop you sueing them...

yeah its a shame that people can't work out that if they are wearing a scarf they might slip on ice!
i'm thinking some black tape will be the solution

You need to be very careful about setting the temperature of ice freezer and the external factor. The DS3 club of united kingdom a-writer reviews and stereo setup is the basic requirement of warning about temperature ice flashing.
