Advice particle filter warning ?

Ds3 d sport , 13500 miles on clock , was driving along and service light lite up and message was displayed on dash screen particle system clogged or fault see handbook?? Now read handbook says not to be checked till 100,000 miles so wtf !! Lol , will be ringing dealer Monday

Any advice other than that guy/girls ??
