  • White/Black edition roof stripes

i have the DS3 White edition model with the black roof stripes. i noticed however yesterday that the ends of the stripes look like they're peeling off. i was wondering whether it could get worst and should i take it into the dealers?

i do like them and want to get them continued still down the front and back. Would they sort it out and maybe get the rest sorted out for me, its annoying i went straight to the company that does it for them but still not got a reply (i've tried twice with them aswell)

The stripes shouldn't be peeling off, but stand by for the predictable claims that you've caused it by inappropriate use (car wash? jet wash? have you driven it in the rain? or through a heavy autumn mist? etc etc)

lol sounds like a BMW sort of answer, i would accpet it if i was using car washes and jet sprays. however ive never trusted using them incase it does cause these sorts of problems :/

              Grammar Nazi's anyone???

Anyway! What might be happening is that when the DS3's arrive at dealers they are covered in a film that protects the car through transport which needs to be removed with a very toxic fluid called 'dewax'. Normally this fluid is left on the car for up to 10 mins to eat away at the film but Stickers, such as the roof strips, should NOT be covered with 'dewax' as it will eat away it. Our valet uses a sponge to apply this stuff so she can control where it touches, you shouldn't put it onto the rubbers either!

              Tenner says thats whats happened!

Don't worry, Perry - you'll have plenty of opportunities to give as good as you got!

                      Here's one for starters:

I'd like a flim to protect my car. Where can I get one?

(Do you feel something tugging on your big foot, Bigfeet?!!)
