    Wonder if anyone can help

Have had my DS3 for three months and today it has kept stalling, usually when taking off in first, but it stalled going from first into second. There hasn't been any warning lights but its still making me concerned that there maybe an issue with the engine management or fuel. I haven't changed anything, driving style, always use the same Shell fuel. I thought first time i may have slipped off the clutch but the car has stalled over 20 times today and I'm an experienced driver, so I'm sure something is wrong. The DS3 is a 1.6 VTI unit.

If anyone may know a possible cause, I will be extremely grateful. Thanks in advance

Hello steve5891 i have the 1.6 vti & that will sometimes stall for no particular reason! It can happen at anytime but not on a regular basis [2 or3 times a months] & only when pulling away in first gear & has never happened when going into second! Charlie

      Hi Steve

Does it do it when you first start up in the morning?
If it does, this could relate to the temperature issue?

Might be the clutch switch on the pedal, you can test this by enabling cruise control and then press the clutch pedal down, cruise should disable itself. If not your switch is to blame.

Have had a look and took the car on a long drive. The cruise control did cut off when I put the clutch in and seems to be better now after "stretching her legs". Will keep my eye on it

              Mine (THP) does the same...
Had it myself when accelerating from 120 to 130 km/h when it suddenly stuttered/stalled for a second or so before continueing.
Dad had it from 70 to 80km/h...
The 10th this month i'll have it back at the tuners for a free diagnostic and removal of the remap...

Feels like driving a damn timebomb..
