  • Service Costs

I'm now on my second DS3 (1.6HDIe) but this time I will have to pay for the services. The first car was on a lease with maintenance included.

Being a driving instructor I will cover around 30k miles.

Spoke to my local dealer today who quotes these prices below. They also have a offer of the first three services for £449 upfront payment saving around 32% on the standard prices below or £211

    Citroen Dealer
    12,500 £180 Deal £123
    25,000 £180 Deal £123
    37,500 £300 Deal £203 Pay £449 upfront
    50,000 £180
    62,500 £180

    Citroen Inde Garage £130 (12,500) £180 (25,000) £175 (37,500)

Was told from dealer that the car requires two small service then big then back to two small.Seems inde thinks small then two big services.

I hope my only other costs will be front pads and front tyres 17" around 35k. Not to sure what mileage I will get from the rear tyres.

Would like some input from members to tell me are these prices in the ball park that I should being paying.

Citroen prices look good so I suggest for you to stay with the main dealer.Your upfront payment looks a good deal. I'm also an ADI with the same vehicle. I've been quoted £199 for first 2 services & £299 for third service which equates to a total of £697. These prices are not upfront payments.

The £449 service plan wouldn't do the 37,500 as it stops at 35,000.

The other option is to ask your dealer to quote you for a FreeDrive plan through the Encore system, that way you get a tailored service plan to suit you.

Knowing Citroen I'm surprised it doesn't stop at 37,499!

The £449 is for the first three services not limited to mileage.

You sure the dealer isn't putting you onto this package - http://www.citroen.co.uk/Resources/C.../servicing.pdf

I never understood why a package can be for 35000 miles when you know the last service you will get is at 25000 miles!
What do you get during the last 10000 miles???

It's primarily aimed at low mileage drivers who would take advantage of the three services.
