  • 2012 Citroen DS3 (permanent Live)

Afternoon All, Ive looked through the forums to no avail (Can't find what i need) I need to wire to a permanent 12v live for a tracker im installing, i have done on 7 other cars so far mainly VW's but im having problems finding a permanent live feed in my DS3, I Have looked in the boot for a subwoofer Live as i saw on here but i believe that was for a c4, my DS3 doesn't have this, If there is anyone with knowledge on this vehicle can assist me it would be greatfully appreciated.

    Many Thanks

    Antony

Think those thread's cover it sufficiently. The only other places I can think will go off with the ignition.

The box won't be there from the boot, that was added by the forum user however if you take a voltmeter to the boot with you, you should be able to find the wire he's referring to by peeling back some of the shroud and testing them.

Failing that, if you're mega stuck there "may" be one in the cable connecting the accelerator pedal. I had to locate a wire there for the Throttle position sensor and seem to recall one of them reading ~12v (be careful where you cut though )

From memory the block on mine is all made 'live' by the heavy cable connected on the left. It's just a case of connecting your feed wire to the block in some way. I soldered the end of my wire, flattened it and then secured with a fuse leg, which also provides fuse protection on the feed

It's far too cold to go out and check!!

The one in the boot should be lower down by the floor all wrapped up. looks like there is something all wrapped up above and behind that box too.
