DS3 tyre upgrade?

Hi everybody

I was wondering if anybody had and clue on what tyres fit the DS3?

I have a brand new set of 205 50 17 tyres on my BMW 118d that I want to put on the DS3 1.6 hdi.

Currently we have the 205 45 18 tyres potenzas. They are awfull. Loud and hard. I hate them.

Does any key know if fitting these would be ok? I was told at the weekend via citroen, once fitted they are within tolerance of 2.6%.

But I'd like your guys opinion please.

I'm wanting to put our BMW 205 50 17 tyres in place of my 205 45 17 potenzas.

Zack has had wheels falling off, been stuck on beaches, burnt out clutches etc. so putting 17" tyres on 18" wheels might be his next big idea. No insult meant on you - just a joke on Zack.

From a tire calculator, so they should fit fine. Beware you will be going faster than your indicated speed, insurance wise I don't know how that would work as its not an original fitment size.
