Rattle from the front you could take to your dealer. Rattle from the back may mean that one of the sponge rubbers on the tailgate just below window may be missing, have a look.

Inside the tailgate at the bottom of the window are two large foam dampers. They can easily come out and not be noticed resulting in the parcel shelf not sitting properly and rattling.

I have the same rattle occasionally that stops when I press the dash either side of the display screen. Which I'm sure on another thread there was a suggestion of stuffing a small piece of sponge pad some something like that in the space between the screen and the dash... Not sure what exactly is causing it but I keep meaning to get around to trying this fix myself!

this proberly isnt relevant but i kept thinkin i had a rattle on the dash but it turned out to be the ds3club cards tht i had put on the passenger sun visor behind the material strip stopping the sun visor seat properly hence the rattle. just incase any1 stores anything up there

When you fix it let me know cos Ive had this vibrating rattle for ages
Almost getting used to it now
Theres a member Josh on here, that showed how he had small bits of sponge over the fixings and bezel on the back of dash dials facia
And he still hadnt fixed it!

Well with my rattle I can stop it by sticking my finger nail behind dash where it meets screen and lifting away slightly which makes me think stuffing a bit of sponge up there would possibly solve it.

I had a rattle around the glove box area. It turned out to be a small rubber pad that had come adrift that the glove box door shuts against.

There was a fix for early-production cars, which involved inserting a foam strip between the top of the dash & the body below the windscreen; however, later cars have modified components which (should!) have cured this particular problem.
