Quite right- if youre loosing oil, its a daily test (Oil dipstick level)

I blew an engine up once- old Ford Capri when I ignored the light for just a little while
It had been faulty and always was coming on- had it fixed and thought the same fault had resurrected
Had a race with some fella- we stopped at lights glaring at each other- bleeding big puff of smoke out the bonnet and the engine died

He'd lost to my Gapri 1600GT- me embarrasssed had to pull up and stop at the lights, he caught up
Me had to get out an say "Me engines blown mate" and he raced off
