Air Conditioning Issue

Anyone have any idea what is going on with my car, as It seems the aircon is playing up?
The symptoms are as follows...was driving along with aircon on 21 and all of a sudden the front screen misted up completely, like while I was doing 50 mph accompanied by a funny smell. Now when I have the heating on 21 it is really hot and feels like on max and a funny smell eminates from vents, yet when on LO it goes cold, the phrase "blows hot and cold" comes to mind.

I feel my cars will be getting it's first warranty work !

Do you have the air recirculation turned on?

That's strange, not had that on mine, the last time I had a car with AC that had a misted screen all of sudden was my first Astra when the system started leaking, I even had AC gas coming through the vents like a dry ice effect !

I think a dealer check up is the best option here.... Don't forget to post back with what they say.

Booked in for Thursday 4th. Told to keep it switched off....er turns itself on everytime I get in !
Smells like a hot dustbin aswell when it's on warm !!!!
