  • Removing left interior panel

Someone dented my car, just below the left rear window. I need to get the interior panel off to straighten the bump. How do I remove the panel? Any pics or instructions are welcome. Thanks!

Get a 'paintless dent repair' specialist to do it for you - they seem to manage without completely removing interior plastics.

I had one fixed on the edge of the roof of my C2. The guy managed to get at it just by unclipping the rear edge of the roof lining

I assume there are such specialists in Finland?

Yes there are, I just thought it would be easier to do it if had access to the backside of the dent.

If anyone has the schematic for the panel removal, please share It's much easier to fix the bump if there's good accessa to the rear side. Also I don't want to paint the exterior surface because the scratches are so fine. Thanks!

Looking at the manual it shows the side panel piece between the grab handle and the storage bin as just being held on by clips. So just pull it off carefully

Thanks for the tip, cyclone. I had the dent done last week. The panel popped off nicely, just had to re-glue the padding inside the body as it ripped off. Took the speaker off also and painted the bump area as the PDR guy scratched the interior paint on the metal a bit when straightening the dent. Replaced the rivets with bolts on the speaker. It would have been a quickish fix but I managed to drop a bolt between the rear seat somewhere. Had to unbolt the rear seat and the lower interior panel and luckily the bolt was there. The rattle would have made me crazy!
