Knicks and Problems with my 2012 DS3

2012 DS3 110 E-HDI Airdream DStyle +

Just wanted to find out if anyone else has these problems:

1: Handle used for access to back seats has came off quite easily
2: When using the aux input , car stereo freezes sometimes and dosn't play again until engine has been turned off and on again
3: Boot gets stuck at times when opening
4: Right hand side passenger window is squeaking everytime it gets put up or down
5: Start stop System dosn't work at times even though eco light comes on using normal initialisation techniques.(clutch off brake down + handbrake no clutch)
6: Traction control light comes on alot trying to take off in first gear and going round corners and round-abouts car loses grip


Can i get some of these fixed under my warranty and servicing package ?

Ok answers below where I can:-

1: Handle used for access to back seats has came off quite easily Nope this hasn't happened to me, if your car is under warranty then get it booked in

2: When using the aux input , car stereo freezes sometimes and dosn't play again until engine has been turned off and on again I haven't had any issues with either the USB or AUX ports, I did have a problem with the iPod touch and the head unit when I first got the car. Citroen replaced the head unit under warranty and no issues now, suggest a trip to your dealer

3: Boot gets stuck at times when opening Do you mean it stops half way up ? Try the search function I think I read before this is deliberate and is supposed to prevent the boot scraping a low ceiling when it's first opened

4: Right hand side passenger window is squeaking everytime it gets put up or down Never had this -speak to Citroen

5: Start stop System dosn't work at times even though eco light comes on using normal initialisation techniques.(clutch off brake down + handbrake no clutch) More on this via the Search - this is normal as there are a number of criteria tht need to be met for the stop/start system to work. I think Bigfeet posted about it previously

6: Traction control light comes on alot trying to take off in first gear and going round corners and round-abouts car loses grip Mine only comes on if I hammer the accelerator, normally going round corners shouldn't activate it unless you're driving it like Lewis Hamilton ! One for Citroen I think

Haha Cheers mate I rang asking for the car to get serviced when they told me that it wasn't due until 12,000 miles even though it was pre-booked for April, they cancelled the appointment and told me to wait, I'm at a loss here because I don't know whether to bring it down so they can have a look

If you think there are faults with the car then that is a different decision than a service ! Make it clear to your dealer that you have issues that you want them to look at

Squeaky window will be the rubbers with grit in which catches everytime you use it clean it with some glass cleaner and put it up and down clean the rubbers as best you can too warm soapy water.

Traction control issue let off the right pedal a bit wen taking off and tht'll be fine

Boot stopping issue sometimes mine does this just open / close , open / close get the fluid in the shocks moving a bit and it should loosen up

Stereo issue mine freezes sometimes when using usb and skipping tracks too quick just learnt to deal with it and slow down not alot you can do.
