Well after five months Citroen have finally replaced my Bellone Alloy wheels due to corrosion around the centre caps.
Well done Citroen, came good in the end.
I'd recommend getting some gthecniq c5 wheel armour, really good stuff, I have my alloys changed due to corrosion, applied this on the alloys, inside and out and not had any corrosion on these and they have been on nearly 12 months. It also seems to help repel the brake dust as now it just wipes straight off, so easy to clean now. :-)
This is one of many places that sells it. Its just like a clear liquid that you wipe on with a cotton pad then buff off, simple as that, protection will last up to 12 months, 1 bottle will be enough to do all four wheels all over inside and out, I even had enough to give the centres a top up last week.
The Bellone alloys are the original wheels? Mine doesn't have any signs of corrosion. But, is anyone noticed that with these wheels (and 205/45 tires) the car is very sensitive to grooves in the road? With winter wheels (some 16" aftermarket alloys with 195/55 tires) no sign of groove sensitivity.
I'm now on my 3rd set of bellone's as citroen were backed into a corner due to my second set having a botched refurbishment and i very much doubt i'll get another set when these inevitably corrode.
