Folding Mirrors Problem :(

Hi,

I have a 62 plate ds3 e-hdi 115 airdream and the folding mirrors wont open they just stopped working all of a sudden but if i manually pull them back then lock the car they fold back in but then wont fold back out? has anyone else had this problem and have any idea what it could be?

If they've never done it, you might need to get them activated by your dealer. If they used to work, see your dealer and get them checked.

Mmmm if you haven't activated the mirror switch on the drivers door then I'd take it to the dealer to have a look at it. Definitely do not open them manually as per the warning above

If the mirrors are folded using control A
they will not unfold when the vehicle is
unlocked. PULL AGAIN ON CONTROL A.

May have accidentally pulled on the control knob to cause the mirrors to not automatically unfold. As the info box says try pulling knob A again.

Dont you get irritated with mirrors folding in/out all the time?
Specially those who stop/start a lot

I like it, means that if you're not sure if you locked it, you can check by the position of the mirrors.

chris has the new sysyem they fold in on the stop start too stop those bloody bike's coming past you and taking the wing mirror with them and not stopping to say sorry

No, Chris's mirrors do do that. It's all related to his little disk in the back window

the mirrors used to work they just won't fold out anymore and as you can imagine it's kinda dodgy driving with no mirrors haha it's booked in with Citroen for Wednesday next week so I'll keep you all updated and let you know what the problem is if any of you ever have the same problem.
