If it's just started doing it then I'd get it checked out, doesn't sound normal to me.

If they say it's normal, see if they have a THP in the showroom you can compare it to.

Maybe post a video so we can see what you're talking about?

Like Beefy I've not heard of anyone complaining of this before with their DS3's..... It certainly doesn't sound normal.

Not normal. Lets look at this. No other THP owner has complained of this that I know of and it did not do it before and now it does. So something has changed (broken) for that to have happened. Don't give up, keep demanding that it is NOT normal and that they investigate the problem further.

Yeah I will keep taking it back till I get answers but yesterday went too fill my screen wash up when i found my ECU loose they had not clipped it back in properly when they had checked it so more complaining i think!!

I've had 3 DS3's and never had a problem before but with this one nothing but trouble and its brand new my first week of owning it the coolant pipe had snapped off so engine over heated they had it back for a month then the turbo went then this nothing but trouble thinking of getting a trade in for a racing

And yes will try and get a video of it cheers for the advise

Best thing to do Rich would be to request that the sales/service man you speak to give you a formal notice (written down - Don't just get this on a phone call, get them to email or write to you) that the issue doesn't look to be an issue to him and the steps he undertook to diagnose this.

Once you have that in writing, take it to another dealership and ask that they investigate it for you also.

If you don't get anywhere you'll then need to take your issue to CUK and get them to investigate it for you. If CUK are still refusing to accept it as an issue, then you'll need to get an external diagnosis from a third party and claim compensation with a solicitor. The written evidence dealer #1 gave you should give you a pretty good leg to stand on though when compared to the third party's resolution.
