  • temp guage and heater

Today my heater appears to have stopped working, this is my worst nightmare as im always cold :P and also my temp guage that tells me the outside temp is telling me its 72 degrees out there
Now my question is are these two issues related?? do they work together hence both failing at the same time...
I really do wish it was 72 degrees outside, maybe it am just a cold blooded?? or is it :snowy0:

Could be if the climate control thinks its 72 then it would not put the heat on more likely the AC after all its warm out there

even manual it should be using the sensor to know the temp

Have you tried turning it off and on again!
Seriously though might try to pull the fuse or disconnect the battery, can't hurt anyway.

First check would be to make sure that the car is really reading in degrees rather then fahrenheit otherwise it some sound like a failed sensor.

It is in degrees, although this morning it was only reading 53 degrees lol
it was freezing as the heater wouldnt work. Is it really summer?

If you have never felt 50 C trust me you do not want your heater on.

Temp sensor has failed and as the thing thinks its 72 outside it will not allow the heat on
