To be honest they are a wee bit expensive.

2 Years / 20,000 miles = £466.75
3 Years / 40,000 miles = £952.82
3 Years / 60,000 miles = £1,380.90

And those prices are based on a 1.6 VTi DS3, the prices do vary depending on model, your dealer should be able to quote you.

The thing is that the £199 deal was only available on the day or if you got a contact from CUK.

I was offered it at the time of purchase and didn't take it up, to be honest my mileage is pretty low and wasn't sure if it would work out any cheaper for me, but I have since had a card from the dealer offering it again and did wonder if this might also apply to other dealerships and as the offer appears to be valid until 07/01/2011 it might be available to others

The service plan, as like the warranty, can be admininstired at any Citroen Authorised Repairer. Don't think that you will be tied to your serving dealer by taking the plan on.

The £199 service only gives

* scheduled services
* annual service (cars on 2 year service routines)
* brake fluid change in year 2
* up to 3 years or 35,000 miles.

The FreeDrive plan gives you

* Scheduled service
* annual service (on year when scheduled service not due)
* Peroidic maintainence
* Wear & Tear items
* Roadside assistance
* MOT fee and repairs as nescessay
* Wash & Vac
* from 6 to 36 months and 10,000 to 120,000 miles
* Options to bolt on - Tyres, pick up, pick and drop off

The main idea behind FreeDrive is to allow customers to budget all their servicing costs ahead.
