Bit confused by the manual. There is a feature about hill start but I haven't noticed it working. I have a DSport Plus manual. Is this something that is specific to certain cars or is there so something specific for it to work?

That appears to be a feature with the electronic gearbox
"provided you are in automated mode (position A) or in manual mode (position M) on an electronic gearbox."Last edited by cyclone; 20-06-2013, 17:16.Originally posted by cyclone
It is in the handbook. Satisfied.

It is not a normal automatic it is an automatic manual gearbox. A 5 speed version comes on the HDI 70 and VTI 95 and a 6 speed on the HDI 90 airdream models here in Germany.
Must just be 1 version of the car manual that gets translated for different countries.Last edited by cyclone; 20-06-2013, 19:19.Originally posted by cyclone

No, the manual/handbook is generic to cover all the bases.
By the way Hill Start for EGS cars is required to allow you enough time to switch from the brake to the throttle pedal otherwise you may end up rolling back!...I should never have doubted the Lord of Bacon!!
