  • Lumpy When Cold

Anyone else find when they first start their car in -6oC approx it is very lumpy for the first few seconds? Remapped THPs mainly, but if anyone else is then thats handy too.

Not noticed that myself. Started it at -8 the other day, left it for about 5mins to defrost and ran fine all the way to work.

Bloody hell I worked in -35 with an additional 15 degrees wind chill and even the diesel freezes. It was probably the lumpy fuel LOL

I take it you meant -6?? well I was parked in -11 today and had no problems at all (110 HDI) apart from having no washers for 220 miles

          Gareth,
Have checked with missus and she says no problems with her car (remapped THP) but is kept in garage (car as well!). Have found it drives loads better than my Jag in the snow & ice.

Of course I meant -6. The oC I did for celcius. It literarly hunts for a few seconds, then is fine. Might just be where it's on a slight slope.

As far as snow goes we have only just had a pathetic flurry here. Pfft!
