Which HID Headlight Kit?

Please can anyone recommend me a HID Kit for our 13 plate DS3 Sport
Is a Canbus one needed?
Is there a good one out there that has been fitted successfully
Cost is not a problem

Yes I have 8000k and a 6000k hr7 canbus kit fitted

Hid kit bulb type h7r 6000k any higher and they will look blue
Also make sure you get the hr bulbs not the h
And eBay is the cheapest place for them

Hi, the canbus is a must if you do not want any errors showing up.

this stuff has been posted before but sometimes the search function can be ,lets say, less than thorough in its results

Personally i would purchase these bulbs:

They have a metal base which is far superior. They sit in the holder better, and the HID capsule is fitted to the base properly which will ensure it's not bent or crooked. In the plastic holders the capsules are glued in and aren't always bang on straight causing excessive glare.

I would then couple the above with 2 of these to power the bulbs:

These balasts are true 55watt and will give the highest output with HID bulbs. There are plenty of "super slim" balasts that are half the size that claim to be 55watt but out of experience these performed the best.

Confused again now
The bulbs you show are 35W, yet the Ballasts have a 55W output
Is this combination, bought separately, 'Plug and Play'?

35w last longer than 55w have a look on you tube or google it

It's ment to be better ie brighter but doubt you would tell the difference

Don't they complain about hids in your MOT? I mean, with hids you have to have automatic height adjustment and lamp washers, or am I wrong?
