Just today I noticed that the on-screen fault-log shows 2 lines of the error "sidelight bulb(s) faulty". However all the bulbs are fine. What are sidelights anyway? The parking lights? Does this apply to front as well as rear bulbs? Until recently I didn't even know that the DS3 reports faulty bulbs. And a while ago I had the error "main beam bulb(s) faulty", 2 lines also and the bulbs were fine. I assumed that main beam are the H1s? And so the normal driving lights are dipped beam?

Yah buddy that would be yes and yes
the sidelights are the parking lights and regular driving headlights are the dipped beams. I had to figure that out also.

Just noticed that for the dipped beam bulbs there's no warning for bulbs faulty. All the other have, main beam, sidelights, flashers. Normal?Comment
