  • Loose part in drivers door?

Something noticed last weekend, if the DS3 is given a bit of thrutching then when cornering / braking etc there is the sound of something moving along the inside of the drivers door. Sounds like a biro or something plastic of similar weight moving.

Wife suggests to leave it until something breaks or it is due next years service (thinking of cost I guess as she is accountancy trained).

Assume it is not easy to get into the door to look what it is?

    Thoughts?

Fairly easy to get inside of the door, just requires you to remove some screws and unclip the trim.

Better to get Citroen to look at it though in the event you break something

I would of thought the interior panel would be easy to click off as they are fitted by clips *and screws, some might break but can easily be replaced. ( it could even be the plastic clip end that's rattling around)

I had a similar issue but with the boot, turned out there was a screw rattling around loose in there.

number 73 in the image is a plastic nut for the screws. It may well be that if it sounds like plastic rattling around.

Cheers guys, definitely sounds like plastic and not metal. Nothing in the storage part of the door. Definitely don't want to risk breaking anything so may as well wait until it next goes into the dealership. It it was doing it all the time it'd really annoy me but as it only seems to happen when I'm really throwing the car around..... it is only slightly annoying.
