So 4th Sept it is. HOWEVER! The plot thickens even further. Before I left work, I was just running my hands over the wheel to see if the horn would toot itself. It didn't at that point - however when I press the actual horn button bit on the steering wheel......nothing! Absolutely nothing! But on the journey home, it started tooting itself again....I honestly cannot tell you all how sick I am of this car! Oh and at the same time they need to fix the horn, the sensor which reads the temp on the display needs fixed as this has just bust and is currently reading 48 degrees!
If you brought this car new or used I would be back to the dealers and hand the keys to them as unfit for sale, Then demand another car and compensation for the time that it takes them to get one for you to hire a car if they can not provide you courtesy one.

Sounds very much like someone had modified or damaged the wiring as near all the faults you have described are wiring related. This means that unless they find the cause rather than replacing the actual broken part, its going to keep happening. I doubt the dealer very much is going to replace the loom which might be needed to stop these faults one and for all.
