  • heater fan not working

went to use air con today and noticed fan not working, tried all the heat settings including windscreen clear, just a puff of air coming out of the vents. Any ideas welcome.

Silly question, but I assume you've tried all the fan speed settings? It it's not working at any speed the first thing to look at is the fuse - your handbook will show you where to look (F11 in the underbonnet fuse box)

The heater fan control module were common fault in older citroens like the c4 and C5, maybe they still using the same part to control fan speed.

well problem solved without to much expense , loose / bad connection on the power supply to the heater fan. luckily didnt over heat , as mechanic said that citreon had experienced over heating of the connection, causing the connector plug to melt.

From factory, or has someone been working that area?

from manufacture Chris, the pin had never been put in the plug properly.
