  • Where to buy Discs and Pads and prices.

Il be changing the pads and discs on my 2010 DSport in around a month, I've been looking on Amazon to get a rough idea of prices and have spotted these.

    Discs Front- CITROEN DS3 1.6 Turbo (150) 2010 -2012 EBC Turbo Groove Front Brake Discs GD1069 - £151

    Pads Front - DP22073 CITROEN DS3 1.6 Turbo 10> EBC GREENSTUFF FRONT BRAKE PADS - £53

    Pads Back - DP2680 CITROEN DS3 1.6 Turbo 10> EBC GREENSTUFF REAR BRAKE PADS - £41

Couldn't see any read discs (but wasn't looking that hard for those), can anybody advise if these prices are decent, also are the pads quoted per wheel or both wheels.

    Cheers

I know that Citroen were having a special on brakes and pads at the moment, might be worth trying your dealer to see if they are part of the promotion?

Cheers mate, to be honest I fancy something better that the stock parts so price isn't a concern in that way, Its not whether £151 is good for discs, rather is it good for those discs.

        Got you

Pads normally come as a pair (2 wheels) and a quick check on EBC Brakes confirms that, also the price is spot on but the looks of it.

By the way love your signature, reminds me of Counter Strike!

Thanks, I got the part numbers from the ECB website but wanted to be sure, didn't want to get home all eager to fit them and find out I was a wheel short.

The Sig is a still from my Mobius covert camera that sits at the top of my chest plate, luckily the picture doesn't show my grouping.

I had a look but to be honest, there are a few things in the world im an expert on, however brake discs and pads isn't one of them. Just going by what ive read as far as brands are concerned. Hey that's why I joined the club, every day is a personal development day

Looking for upgrades on mine, slotted and grooved, and will be Citroen approved bits for now whilst the warranty is long

Edit- Actually, as brakes are a wear n tear item, it may be OK to upgrade, and have no effect on the warranty for rest of vehicle
                    Better find out

Was gonna book mine in cos seems discs are warped after 8000 miles, but scuffing noise has stopped for the moment
