  • Annoying Rattle front passenger side

I've seen a few threads about rattles but cant find any relating to the area of mine.

Its a DS3 1.6 Dsport plus 13plate. Don't about 9000 miles and over the last few weeks it has developed a rattle which sounds like its coming from around the passenger side wheel arch.

Its mainly when doing down driving or country driving on uneven roads, high speeds on motorway is fine and don't get any rattle.

Any ideas before I get it booked in?

My thought is to check the splash guard inside the wheel arch, possible that you may have a lug loose.

Did you check the side skirt sills? Mine had one clip broken and it rattled against the body.

And if youre not certain of the location of the rattle- take everything out the glove box, side pockets etc
I did that and found (Or Jamie did) one of the rubber grommet things that the glove box lid rested on, was missing

Rattles everywhere round the dash mine. Speedo covers, air vents, speaker. Creaks and groans when it wants, then sometimes stops LOL
        Got used to it Ha!
