Someone once posted pics of the paint under the stickers. It was not nice looking at all. Would have to be repainted if you wanted to leave them off.

Before putting another one onto the metal it will be worth making sure that the surface is cleaned correctly with the use of something like pre-paint to avoid any contamination.

Those stickers... look nice but if you get wax on them, after a while it turns white and it's a pain to get off. Even if you wipe it immediately after spilling.

When you do take it to Citroen just tell them that you've only ever used a sponge to wash the car and never a pressure washer.

They've invalidated the warranty on quite a few peoples roof wraps with this excuse.

Almost off-topic, does anyone have a spare part number for the plastic triangle shaped bit that's right next to the small window on each side of the front doors (not on the door). It's like an extension of the window trim.

You mean part #11 in Aidans post (#3) or part 10 from post 5

I don't think it's either one. It's not part of the door or window as such. It's attached to the wheel arch metal right next to the A-pillar.

                            Help please!

Please help ...... One of my nearest and dearest has opened the passenger door and put a chip on the door edge. The chipped portion is on the black triangular panel immediately to the right of the window. Will try to attach a pic. It actually looks like a panel made of tape that crimps round the door edge so I am hoping I can replace it. Challenge is I wouldn't know the part name. Can anybody help me out?

Your guess is correct it is a sticker. Don't fret about the "proper" name, just explain it or show your dealers parts guy. He will be able to figure it out and get a new one for you.
