It's a fuse.... it costs peanuts.

To be honest with you by the time the dealer has submitted the claim it's easier for them just to give you one.

Sorry, I was meaning if it was the motor or a wider problem than the fuse, if its the fuse I'll probably pay for it myself as you say. A fuse would be a couple of quid maximum.

I got a box of 100 assorted fuses from Halfrauds for about £8, on the shelf next to single fuses for £2 each. I'm sure they'd be cheaper online though. Please don't buy a single fuse for £2.

Had a look on Amazon, there seems to be a good selection of cheap ones on there, I will probably order some for backup once I get this looked at.

Can confirm, mine didn't come with any extras when I bought the car new. I don't think either of WTF's did too.

Hi all
I have the same problem on my 2011 61 plate 1.6ehdi d style plus air dream. The garage say it was due to cheap fuse from halfords!!!

My mum has a 2013 d sport and I checked her fuse as she has not had any problems and hers is 15 amp

Can anybody tell me if the fuse box has been changed since 2011 or if not would it be safe to replace the 10amp with a 15 aamp fuse???
